Lately, I’ve been leaning into the idea that health is wealth—because without a strong, supported body, it’s impossible to live fully, dive deeply, or keep up with the ocean adventures I love.
That’s why I started using Function Health, a platform that tests over 100 biomarkers, giving a full picture of what’s happening inside the body. When I received my results, I was surprised (and thrilled) to learn that my biological age is 7.5 years younger than my actual age. A reminder that the little things I do daily—moving my body, fueling it with good food, and staying connected to nature—really add up.
On the outside, I track my fitness with my Garmin watch (yes, I even wear it freediving). Right now, my Garmin has my fitness age at 31, and it seamlessly syncs with the Garmin Connect and Garmin Dive apps to capture everything from workouts to dive logs.
The best part? These two tools together give me both a microscopic and macroscopic view of my health—what’s happening inside, and how my body is performing outside. It helps me see where I need to adjust supplements, dial in recovery, or simply celebrate the progress I’ve made.
As Function put it:
"You're a human being with a body.
That you live in.
Love in.
And this body, it helps you do everything.
Experience everything.
So, you deserve to know everything about it…
so you can make this life uniquely yours."
I couldn’t agree more.
